Structural Modelling, Detailing and Drafting
Developed in-house, Rosewich’s proprietary design software package provides an unparalleled level of assistance to design engineers and contractors.
Working primarily in Autodesk and Tekla, and specializing in developing BIM solutions, our expertise delivers leading edge standards of model and geometry calculations which can be used across a wide range of on-site disciplines. We provide advanced analysis throughout our clients’ design and planning phases, so that any issues can be vetted and dealt with prior to any potentially negative impacts on the project schedule and cost.
We specialize in the creation of high quality fabrication shop drawings. To date, we have delivered detailed shop drawings for over 40,000 tons of complex steel structures.
Our unique system of hierarchy in shop drawing production provides a high degree of flexibility resulting in tailored solutions to suit various fabrication procedures for fabricators in North America, Europe and Asia. During drawing development, we have the capability to perform detailed constructability reviews and fabrication procedure troubleshooting. Our coordinate geometry system provides the foundation for dimensional control and surveying, ensuring the maximum degree of accurate fit-up on-site. Additionally, we can deliver intelligent temporary works solutions directly into our shop drawings.

Fabrication Management and Quality Control
We believe that investing in quality management and coordination is absolutely necessary to secure the best value in steel supply.
Rosewich’s expertise lies in using our unique quality control and assurance systems to ensure construction advances efficiently, thus minimizing risk and maximizing value for our design engineer and general contractor customers. Implementing comprehensive QA on the fabrication shop floor and on-site with ASNT/AWS/CSWIP certified inspectors has enabled us to coach fabricators and contractors to successfully deliver projects more complex than they have ever undertaken before or to specifications which they may have been unfamiliar with. Our ‘quality gates’ procedure ensures superb quality and accuracy are achieved in a transparent manner throughout the fabrication process from the steel mill to on-site delivery and construction.
Rosewich has developed a unique weld tracking database employed at the shop drawing stage to ensure the highest possible quality control and assurance.
This system has been used with great success on a number of projects to provide detailed weld maps which tie in with our online tool for live welder/NDT tracking. The tool can then be used to print a Certificate of Compliance for each shipping piece based on unique weld IDs tied to that piece in a welding data log which we populate during shop drawing development. This brings enormous advantages on-site in terms of construction speed, as well as giving clients an unparalleled degree of confidence in the efficiency of the build process.
In 2018, Rosewich was delighted to achieve accreditation as a New York Special Inspection Agency with the International Accreditation Service (IAS).
Rosewich’s Quality System was audited and accredited to the requirements of the New York City Department of Buildings and the International Building Code. Our specific accreditation is to perform special inspections in NYC, but our procedures and Quality Manual have been used on several projects around the world.
Rosewich staff have managed the fabrication and delivery of well over 200,000 tons of structural steel from suppliers in North America, Europe and Asia.
Our extensive industry contacts and established working relationships allow us to call on the optimal fabricator for each project, large or small, leading to highly competitive pricing strategies and successful delivery.
